Media Relations

I have had the amazing opportunity to work as a media relations intern for Virginia Tech News from August 2022 - May 2023. In this role, I have learned the importance of not only telling stories but connecting them with others. Through journalistic platforms such as Eurkealet and Cision, I create media lists and track analytics to elevate Virginia Tech news. These efforts have helped connect Virginia Tech faculty with national media outlets such as Good Morning America, The Washington Post, CNN, and Forbes.
